Youth-led Civic Engagement Initiative
Our Mission
Revitalizing the approach to Civic Education
The civic pulse empowers youth through civic education. By providing education on civic institutions, practices, and legislation we provide a platform for the next generation of policy-makers to take action in their community.
Our Work
We publish a monthly newsletter simplifying local and statewide policy changes, meetings, and elections in a way that youth and ordinary people can understand. We do civic workshops at community centers to introduce children to key civic topics such as our government, voting, elections, and so much more. All of our work is dedicated to advancing the way in which children receive civic education, inside, and outside of the classroom.
Key Initiatives
Newsletter
We are in search of opportunities to help as many youth as possible. We approach and fund all those who are in need.
Clinic
We offer interactive civics clinics teaching kids about their government and how they can help implement change through action and advocacy. These clinics take place at schools, libraries, community centers and much more.
Pulse Briefs
Pulse Briefs help to simplify the overly complicated language within policy and government. They provide clear and direct explanations of laws, how they came to be, and how they affect you.
Civic Action
Each month we outline an action that youth can take to get involved in civics and start their journey towards becoming change makers.
